Project manager for the Project Management Office at Atea Managed Services

Your role
As a Project Manager in our Development & Governance team, you’ll take the helm of IT capability initiatives, service development projects, solution implementations, and transformation programs—all designed to deliver real value across Atea Managed Services.
In this role, you’ll own the entire project lifecycle—from assessment and planning to resource allocation, execution, and delivery. You’ll work closely with your project team to solve technical and organizational challenges, ensuring smooth handovers, thorough evaluations, and successful closures. These projects often drive significant change, so your ability to manage stakeholder expectations, inspire and motivate teams, and act as the vital link between management and delivery will be key.
You’ll lead projects on behalf of the Steering Committee, ensuring every milestone meets scope, time, budget, and quality requirements. Throughout the journey, you’ll collaborate with sponsors and uphold compliance with internal processes and governance standards.

Working with your project team your primary tasks will be to
- Take ownership of the project and drive it proactively implement projects according to agreed governance.
- Manage your stakeholders and cooperate with Enterprise Architects, Service Owners, Product Managers, IT Operations Tower Leads and Team Leads, IT Operations Experts (SME) and Service Delivery Managers during the project.
- Engage actively with your Steering Committee especially the project Sponsor
- Create an environment where creativity and innovation from the Project Team will flourish.
- Utilize your Project Management toolbox and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions as well as Change control with respect for budgets, governance, and deadlines.
- Think ahead - plan and manage resources (time, people, assets, 3rd party involvement) to meet project completion deadlines.
- Facilitate workshops and planning activities and participate in solution implementation activities as a management force.
- Ensure that necessary documentation is gathered, stored, and passed according to agreed knowledge management policy (KB, emails, internet etc.) for the individual projects.
